The El Dorado International Airport –the main air terminal of Bogota and the country–, has been ranked as the first cargo traffic airport, the third in point of passenger movement, and number one in services and facilities in Latin America.
Its privileged location in the continent translates into top closeness with cities such as New York, Mexico DF, and São Paulo, with just 5 hours for an air trip. The air terminal in Bogota provides direct international connections to the main cities of Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
Additionally, Bogota enables businesses to have access to an international market of a little under 1.8 billion people through 16 free trade agreements that Colombia has signed and are currently in force.
Recently, the El Dorado International Airport secured recognition as the first airport in Latin America to receive five Skytrax stars for the implementation of biosafety measures, as well as the Airport Sanitary Accreditation given by ACI.
